Practice Staff
Emma Jones – Practice Manager
Emma joined the practice in August 2015. Emma has a wealth of administration/human resource management experience in both the private and public sectors. Outside of work Emma is a keen Arsenal fan, enjoys walking in the local countryside and socialising with family and friends.
Carla Banks – Trainee Assistant Practice Manager
Carla joined the practice as a Patient Advisor in April 2021 and even though Carla has no previous administrative experience, we saw her full potential and she became a trainee Assistant Practice Manager in November 2021. Carla has a huge training programme to undertake to understand NHS Finances, Human Resources, Customer Service, Estates, Health & Safety, Complaints, Administration Management plus everything else that comes with the role. Carla in her own time is a very keen dancer and enjoys socialising with family and friends.
Reception Team
Kate McCarney – Reception Supervisor
Kate has been a popular face with patients in the reception team for over 9 years and back in November 2021 became the Supervisor of the team to ensure the reception team are trained in Care Navigation, Patient Signposting, Reception, Prescriptions, Registration of new patients, removal of leavers and clinical correspondence. Kate has years of primary care experience. In her own time she enjoys spending time with her family and going on country walks.
We have a team of patient advisors who are normally your first point of contact.
The team may need to be aware of the nature of your problem in order to help in the most appropriate way, so please give brief details if asked. All matters discussed with them (or any other member of the practice team) will be treated with strict confidence. All members of the reception team have been trained to navigate patients to the best route to ensure the best possible care.
Secretaries
We have two secretaries in the practice. They work between 09:00 and 17:00 daily.
Administration & Support Staff
These members of staff work behind the scenes in various ways to help with the efficient functioning of the practice.
