Enhanced access
Our aim is to make it easier and more convenient for patients to see a GP/nurse/HCA by providing more appointments at certain surgeries across the area. These will be known as enhanced access appointments. Patients can book to be seen regardless of which surgery they are registered at.
These appointments can only be offered to patients registered with one of the North & South Primary Care Network practices.
These appointments will be between Monday to Friday 7am to 8am and 6:30pm to 8pm and also on a Saturday morning from 8am to midday.
Our reception teams may also offer you these appointments at Gloucester Health Access Centre during the weekend.
If you need help when we are closed
If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or call 111.
NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.
Alternatively, you can contact the Gloucester Health Access Centre (GHAC) on 01452 336290. The Gloucester Health Access Centre (GHAC) is a local GP Consortium made up from local GP’s who are committed to improving access at increasing the range of health promotion and medical services in the area. Anyone can attend as a non-registered patient or if you live within the centre of Gloucester you can register.
Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.
Accessibility
Unfortunately the surgery has no lift and some of the GP rooms are located on the first floor. If you are unable to manage the stairs please let reception know at the time of booking appointments.
There are designated disabled parking bays at the front of the surgery and a disabled toilet is located in reception.
We have a hearing loop in reception which was funded by the PPG.
Parking
Unfortunately we cannot offer car parking for patients unless you are a valid blue badge holder.
Four spaces at the front of the building have been designated for registered disabled patients.
